Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the quality by reducing a residual stress generated in a burring part of a work by a curved part of a burring punch, obviating a return phenomenon caused by spring-back and forming a branch seat of high accuracy, in the method and the device for burring, for burring the branch seat of the work used for a faucet casing.
CONSTITUTION: In the burring device for executing burring to a lower hole of a work by a burring punch 10 having both upper and lower dies 1, 2 and a cam part 10a, a large diameter part 10b and a small diameter part (a raising part) 10c are formed in the burring punch 10, and a curved part (a coining part) 11 is formed between these large diameter part 10b and small diameter part 10c.
