Abstract:

To charge a piezoelectric element efficiently and completely in easy manner by commutating the electric charges stored in a piezoelectric element to a plurality of elements having a capacitive characteristic and by charging the elements continuously.

The first step of the discharge of a piezoelectric element 1 is started by turning a first discharging current circuit on (a switch 4a is turned on and switches 3a, 5a are turned off). The discharging current passing through the first discharging current circuit commutates the electrice charges stored in the piezoelectric element 1 to a capacitor 6. The second step of the discharge of the piezoelectric element 1 is started by turning a second discharging current circuit on (the switch 5a is turned on and the switches 3a, 4a are turned off). The discharging current passing through the second discharging current circuit commutates the electric charges remaining in the piezoelectric element 1 to a battery 7. Thereby, the piezoelectric element 1 can be discharged completely, efficiently and in easy manner, furthermore, without interfering the other processes or components.
