To provide a method of gas disinfection for medical instruments capable of securely disinfecting/sterilizing the inside of a tubular object, and a device thereof.
In one method, a low frequency vibration generating means is set inside a disinfection compartment. The compartment is filled with disinfection gas, and low frequency vibrations are generated from the low frequency vibration generating means when the disinfection is started, and gas waves generated from the low frequency vibrations are applied to an object to be disinfected. In another method, a low frequency vibration generating means is set inside a disinfection compartment. The compartment is filled with disinfection gas, and low frequency vibrations are generated from the low frequency vibration generating means when the disinfection is started, and gas waves generated from the low frequency vibrations are applied to the object to be disinfected. Next, the disinfection gas is made harmless and at the time, low frequency vibrations are generated from the low frequency vibration generating means, and the gas waves generated from the low frequency vibrations are applied to the object to be disinfected.
