Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a flat plate polishing method in which any color shade, irregular engraving, uneven plating, etc., do not occur on products, and also polishing speed is high.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of front and rear flat plate polishing members 9 are rotated in the directions reverse to each other through cranks 43 and 44 while being pressed against the surface of a flat plate 10 to be polished at a specified pressure to polish the surface of the flat plate 10. Because this rotates the pair of front and rear polishing members 9 in the directions reverse to each other while pressing against the surface of the flat plate 10 at a specified pressure, the specified pressure is distributed evenly on the overall polishing surface, and even a large flat plate 10 can be polished into a precise and even mirror surface. For this, any color shade, irregular engraving, uneven plating, etc., do not occur on products. Also a polishing speed is increased remarkably by the synergetic effect of the pair of front and rear polishing members 9.
