Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REMOVING METAL PARTICULATES FROM EMULSION IN ELECTROCHEMICAL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3469134
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a clean emulsion by removing metal particulates, sludge, grease, bad oder component, etc., from the emulsion, allow the emulsion to be reused, manage with no maintenance, and simplify the removing operations.
SOLUTION: A plurality of positive electrode plates 29 and negative electrode plates are installed opposingly in a vessel 11 to accommodate an oil-in-water type emulsion. A specified voltage is impressed between the two sorts of electrodes so that the water existing between them is electrolyzed, and aluminum hydroxide is attached to hydrogen molecules generated and rising from the negative electrode plates, and sludge, grease, bad oder component, etc., are attached to the aluminum hydroxide and allowed to come up to the surface.
