Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mount a tire on a wheel without causing deformation to the bead part substantially by locating a well on a side apart from the supporting surface, and pressing the dropped bead part inward in the tire radial direction relative to the wheel.
CONSTITUTION: A tire 10 is subjected to rim assembling on a wheel 12 placed on a flat supporting surface so that the well 12a is positioned on the side apart from the supporting surface. Therein the tire 10 is placed on the wheel 12 on whose side face a wheel cap 30 for rim assembling is mounted, and part of one of the tire bead parts 10a is dropped to the wheel 12. That of the bead parts 10a situated on the wheel 12 side is pushed wide outward in the radial direction and dropped in the circumferential direction gradually while that tire 10 portion where the first named bead part 10a is dropped is pressed inward. Thereby the bead parts 10a are prevented from application of excessive external force, which permits mounting of tire 10 on the wheel 12 without causing deformation to the bead parts substantially.
