PURPOSE: To enable a granular powder material to be intermittently sprayed on a movable fiber base material surface to form a granular powder material layer, by constituting a device by a feeder means to generate a continuous flow of a granular powder material and a flow divider to separate a continuous flow into first and second intermittent flows.
CONSTITUTION: A granular powder material is moved from its supply source 12 to the hopper 20 of a dry material volume feeder 22. A flow rate regulating screw and a nozzle shroud are arranged on the outlet of the volume feeder 22 to discharge an accurately regulated volume of the granular powder material to the outlet of the volume feeder 22. The granular powder material is transported to a movable nozzle 38 at variable speed. Every time the nozzle 38 crosses the axis of an outflow separator, the continuous flow of the granular powder material is divided into first and second intermittent flows to oscillate the nozzle 38. The first intermittent flow of the granular powder material is added to a movable fiber base material 58 to form a granular powder material layer at a prescribed part in the thickness of the granular powder 8.
