Abstract:
To obtain a colored fine particle useful as a colorant for an image recording material such as a developer for electrophotography, an ink for an ink-jet printing, etc., a printing ink, a powder coating or a slurry coating.
This method for fine particulate colored resin is characterized in that the method has a process for uniformly dispersing or dissolving at least a coloring matter in a hot-melt resin to give a colored resin and making the colored resin into a molten state, a process for making the colored resin in the molten state into a droplet-like fine particle in a medium not to dissolve the colored resin and a process for cooling and solidifying the droplet-like fine particle.
