Abstract:
PURPOSE: To generate a high level scanning picture having an improved picture quality.
CONSTITUTION: A method for generating the high level expression of a picture includes a step for operating the low sensitive scanning of a picture (a), step for operating the high sensitive scanning of the picture (b), step for subtracting the low sensitive scanning picture from the high sensitive scanning picture (c), and step for operating a binary OR arithmetic operation for each picture element between the high sensitive scanning picture and the subtracted result, and forming the high level expression. Thus, a firm latest picture subtraction method can be used for the deviation in a position of the picture and a noise present there, and a 'high dynamic range picture' whose dense section and light section can be clearly recognized can be generated.
