Abstract:

To provide a liquid discharge head which easily widens the range of gradation expression.

The liquid discharge head is provided with: a foam generation region; a first liquid channel for mainly supplying a first liquid; a second liquid channel communicating with the first liquid channel for supplying a second liquid; and a movable member having a free end set to a position for covering a communicating part between the first liquid channel and the second liquid channel. The first liquid and the second liquid are mixed and discharged by opening/closure of the movable member. The movable member is opened/closed with the utilization of a static electricity force between an electrode layer arranged at the free end of the movable member and an electrode layer arranged at a position opposite to the free end of the movable member.
