Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving ozone resistance, which method provides colored images and colored materials, applicable to various coloring compositions such as an ink composition for printing such as ink-jet, an ink sheet in a heat-sensitive transfer image forming material, a toner for electrophotography, a color composition for a color filter used in an LCD, PPD and CCD, and a dye solution for dyeing various fibers and excellent in hue and fastness (particularly ozone resistance).
SOLUTION: The ozone resistance of the colored image materials is improved by using a phthalocyanine pigment having an oxidation potential nobler than 1.0 V (vs SCE) represented by general formula (1). A concrete example is represented by formula (2).
