Abstract:
To provide a method of joining aluminum materials for reducing voids produced in a joined interface as far as possible even when aluminum materials are joined at a low temperature of 380-500°C which is lower than the normal joining temperature of aluminum materials.
A Zn-Al-based alloy brazing filler metal with the Al concentration being 0.5-10 mass% is used for a brazing filler metal, and CsF-AlF3-based eutectic flux is used for a flux. The brazing filler metal with the flux being added thereto is heated at the temperature of 380-470°C under the reduced pressure of ≤50 Pa, and melted and cooled to join the aluminum materials 1 to each other or an aluminum material 1 to an aluminum-ceramic composite body 2.
