Abstract:

To provide a versatile technique comprising surely making a peripheral chimera using a gene recombinant technique.

The method for making a peripheral chimera comprises transferring a plant cell with a vector for transferring a plant with a gene and then redifferentiating a plant body from an adventitious root obtained from the plant cell. The vector includes the aimed gene, rol gene as the selection marker gene, and an leavable DNA. The rol gene exists at a position where it makes an identical behavior with that of the leavable DNA, and the aimed gene exists at such a position as to express after leaving of the rol gene and the DNA factor.
