To provide a method for manufacturing electrochromic light control glass which is free from troubles such as irregular coloring even when the cell is large-sized as in the case of a conventional one.
The electrochromic light control glass is manufactured by sealing the peripheral edge between two transparent conductive substrates disposed facing each other with a specified space to form a cell and injecting an electrolyte or its precursor through an injection port into the cell to form an electrolyte layer. In this method, after the injection tool to inject the electrolyte or its precursor into the cell is mounted on the cell, the cell with the injection tool mounted is disposed in a chamber, the chamber is evacuated and then the inner pressure of the chamber is increased to inject the electrolyte or its precursor into the cell through the injection tool. Then the injection tool is detached and the injection port is sealed. The volume of the electrolyte or its precursor injected into the cell is controlled to be smaller than the inner volume of the cell under the atmospheric pressure.
