Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently manufacture a cell in the manufacture of a liquid crystal display panel and to prevent damages in lead wires of a TFT element substrate, fracture of a sealing material, and distortion or slip between substrates.
SOLUTION: Before laminating a counter substrate 1 made of a plastic material and a TFT element substrate 2 made of a glass material, the counter substrate is cut into individual chips (S8). Then a liquid crystal material 7 is dropped onto the counter substrate 1 (S9). The chips formed by cutting the counter substrate 1 are laminated and sealed with the TFT element substrate 2 on which a gap material 4 is disposed, and then the TFT element substrate 2 is cut by a cutter 10 (S10).
