Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a printed matter capable of recording aqueous ink onto a recording medium without causing density unevenness.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a printed matter includes preparing aqueous ink, preparing a recording medium 10, and recording the aqueous ink onto the recording medium 10. The aqueous ink contains a plurality of pigment particles having a negative zeta potential. The recording medium 10 has a resin base material 11, and a melamine resin layer 13 covering at least a part of the surface of the resin base material 11. Recording the aqueous ink onto the recording medium 10 includes discharging the aqueous ink to the melamine resin layer 13 using a recording head 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
