To enhance productivity compared with a prior art, in a method of enhancing the productivity by causing a solid combustible concentration in a sintering raw material to segregate.
In an method of manufacturing a sintered ore, a sintered ore is manufactured by forming a raw material layer with a lower layer and a surface layer separated each other, on a palette of a Dwight Lloyd type sintering machine, and by making the concentration of a solid combustible in the lower layer get lower than the concentration of the solid combustible in the surface layer. In the method, (i-1) the surface layer includes at least a layer ranging over from a surface of the surface layer up to 25 mm under the surface, and (ii-1) the concentration of the solid combustible in the surface layer is 4.0-5.5 mass%, and the concentration of the solid combustible in the lower layer is 3.0-3.3 mass%, or (ii-2) the concentration of the solid combustible in the surface layer is more than 5.5 mass%, and the concentration of the solid combustible in the lower layer is 2.5-3.5 mass%.
