Abstract:
To use sintered ore not only for a blast furnace but also for dephosphorizing treatment.
A sintered ore can be obtained by sintering a sintering material containing iron ore and carbonaceous material. When a matrix perimeter length for each matrix unit area of the sintered ore is X and mass of calcium ferrite contained in the sintered ore is Y, Z=1/X+Y/100 is 1.8 or more, X≤0.74 mm/mm2, and Y≤4 mass%. Thereby the sintered ore has sufficient strength as a blast furnace raw material and further has superior dephosphorizing performance.
