To provide a method for manufacturing a V-ribbed belt capable of ensuring good mold-releasabilities and releasabilities and excellent in back face evenness.
After an extended rubber layer 15 is arranged on the outer peripheral face of an inner mold 21 through a resin film 14, a core wire 13 is spirally spun. Then, an unvulcanized adhesive rubber sheet and an unvulcanized compression rubber sheet are successively wound to arrange an adhesive rubber layer 12 and a compression rubber layer 16, and to form an unvulcanized belt sleeve 11. Then, while this unvulcanized belt sleeve is wound on the inner mold as it is, a jacket is externally inserted to constitute a mold assembly, and after this mold assembly is placed and fixed on a base stand in a vulcanizing can and the upper and lower faces are tightly closed, the unvulcanized belt sleeve is heated and pressed by putting steam therein to perform vulcanization.
