To provide a tile cutting dust collecting apparatus which consists of a simple structure, for example, can be easily installed even on a place for construction such as on a roof where a scaffold is bad, and is excellent in dust collecting capacity.

The tile cutting dust collecting apparatus is formed of a rectangular parallelepiped casing 1 and a ventilating fan 4 for venting air in the casing 1. The casing 1 is a housing consisting of an upper face 2, a lower face 3 and side faces 4, and the upper face 2 is provided with an opening part 5 for collecting dust with a width larger than the thickness of a rotating cutter used for cutting tiles. In addition, in the ventilating fan 7, its suction opening is fixed on the side face 4 toward the inside of the casing 1, and a filter is mounted in the suction opening. This apparatus sucks efficiently the dust generated during cutting the tiles into the casing 1, and is easily carried as it has a simple constitution, and can be easily installed even on the roof where the scaffold is bad to be able to safely operate it.
