Abstract:

To precisely analyze the change and critical distortion in magnetic domain direction by curving the observation side surface of a metal thin strip sample piece into an optional curved form, changing the curved form after observing the magnetic domain structure, and observing the magnetic domain structure again.

A curved plate 2 may have a flat part 2P. A metal thin strip sample piece 1 is curved along the protruding surfaces of curved plates 2 having different curvature radiuses in longitudinal direction f2, and both ends of the sample piece 1 are pressed and fixed to the curved plates 2 in this state by pressing members 3. A fixing jig must have a guide passage to the sample piece 1. Thus, the magnetic domain structure on the observation side surface of the sample piece 1 can be observed in a plurality of positions having different curvature radiuses including the plane, and the sample piece 1 can be recovered by removing only the pressing members 3 for pressing and fixing. Further, the same sample piece 1 can be observed again in a state having a different curvature radius by use of a curved plate having a curved surface different from the curved plate 2.
