Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the accumulation of harmful tar with a mechanism to prevent forgotten extinguishing and an operation extension mechanism being held by returning the operation to an ordinary operation after the time of operation is further extended and the temperature of a carburetor raised to high temperature for a short time.

CONSTITUTION: The operation of a space heater is extended further for a certain time (3hrs.) by tuning an operation extension switch 23 ON. In addition, the temperature of a carburetor 6 is held for a short time (10sec.) at higher temperature (415°C) than the ordinary operation temperature (280-285°C) by raising the extent of heating of a carburetor heater 8. With this arrangement the tar accumulated inside the carburetor 6 is incinerated and removed. As soon as a short time (10sec.) has passed, the temperature of the carburetor 6 is returned to the ordinary operation temperature and the operation is extended another certain time (3hrs.). A drop in the combustion efficiency of a kerosene space heater is, therefore, prevented.
