Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a lot organization for continuous casting which is equal to or superior to the one set by an expert by properly control the balance between evaluation indexes; wherein a solid is produced, whose overall evaluation index to be a criterion of the lots organization is optimized with a genetic algorithm.
SOLUTION: Preconditions for organizing lots in continuous casting are input to an indicating device for lots organization. Then priorities for each evaluation index for organizing lots in continuous casting are input to a control unit for evaluation functions. Based on the priorities for each evaluation index, each evaluation functions are weightened corresponding to each evaluation index. A device for lots organization optimizes an overall evaluation function value by applying a genetic algorithm. An execution device for the genetic algorithm reads information on a steel piece which corresponds to preconditions input to an indicating device for lots organization, and reads information on evaluation functions which correspond to each evaluation index. A result of lots organization in continuous casting is made by applying the genetic algorithm so that the overall evaluation function value is optimized.
