PURPOSE: To control overruns accurately and automatically, and to aim uniformity of product by subjecting a flow rate of air to proportional control depending upon variability in flow rate of fed mix.
CONSTITUTION: Mix is fed from the milk feed pump 1 through the process piping 2 to the freezer 3, the amount of the fed mix is measured by the flowmeter 4, a pulse signal is inputted to the converter 5, converted into a unit pulse and an analog output and the unit pulse is inputted to the digital counter 6 and integrated. On the other hand, the analog signal is inputted to the lead-out unit 8, the control signal of air flow rate to make an overrun value set by an overrun setting device is outputted, inputted to the air controller 9 to regulate the divergence of MFC interior part. Simultaneously comparison control is carried out by a flow rate signal from the built-in sensor of the controller 9 and the flow rate signal is inputted through the lead-out unit 8 to the voltage converter 10 and converted.
