To provide a device and a method for pulling a catherter along a wire.
The device pulls and positions a device such as a stent in the target area of a lumen. In an embodiment, a cylindrical motor comprises a vertical hole part, a friction area in the vertical hole part, and a guide wire positioned inside the vertical hole part. The guide wire and friction area of the motor can produce a friction between the friction area and the guide wire so that the motor can move the catherter to the target area by allowing the guide wire and the friction area to come into contact with each other to gradually move the catherter relatively to the guide wire, and have those sizes suitable for this movement. In another embodiment, the cylindrical motor having the frictional area on the outer surface thereof is positioned in a guide tube.
