To obtain an adhesive tape that has excellent hand tearing easiness even in a double-sided adhesive tape using a foam tape and slightly causes dust of release paper and to provide a method for producing the same.
A long tape base 10 of a foam material is continuously conveyed and the tape base 10 is provided with a perforated cutting line 11 for hand tearing in the width direction by perforating processing by the cutting line formation means 50 of a processing position P1. The transfer of an adhesive by long first release paper 31 is started at the subsequent coating position P2 of the processing position P1 and finally both sides of the tape base 10 are provided with adhesive layers 41 and 42. Release paper 32 is left on one adhesive layer 42 to produce the double-sided adhesive tape, which is wound in a roll form.
