Abstract:
To provide a method of appropriately controlling, when generating a nickel sulfide by a sulfurization treatment, a grain size of the nickel sulfide to be generated while reusing a total amount of sodium hydrosulfide solution generated by a detoxification treatment of a hydrogen sulfide gas.SOLUTION: A method of accommodates a sulfuric acid acidic solution containing nickel in a reaction vessel and causes a sulfurization reaction by a hydrogen sulfide gas to obtain a nickel sulfide. The method includes a process of: collecting an unreacted gas of the hydrogen sulfide gas added to the sulfuric acid acidic solution; and adding a total amount of the sodium hydrosulfide solution obtained by generating a sodium hydrosulfide solution by a detoxification treatment together with the hydrogen sulfide gas to cause a sulfurization reaction. The reaction vessel is composed of two or more reaction vessels connected in series. The sodium hydrosulfide solution is distributed and added to a first reaction vessel on a most upstream side, and a reaction vessel at a stage subsequent to the first reaction vessel, and a distribution ratio of the sodium hydrosulfide solution to the first reaction vessel is within a range of 40-70% in the total amount of the sodium hydrosulfide solution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
