To provide a method for producing wastepaper pulp, with which specific equipment is not used, not only slime in white water is prevented, but also bleaching efficiency in a aging (bleaching) process, especially bleaching efficiency is raised in the case of using hydrogen peroxide, a chemical cost is reduced and the COD amount generated in hydrogen peroxide treatment is reduced in a method for producing wastepaper pulp, especially a method for producing wastepaper pulp having high brightness.
In the method for producing wastepaper pulp, with which a disintegration process, a dust removing process, a dehydration process and an aging (bleaching) process are carried out in this order, an antimicrobial agent is added to a process before the aging process and the preferable amount of the antimicrobial agent added is 0.01-0.5% based on bone dry pulp.
