PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a water-repellent film having excellent water repellency, and having excellent wear resistance and scratch resistance.SOLUTION: A method of producing a water-repellent film comprises the steps of forming, on resin base material, a porous layer having fine particles and having holes with a hole diameter of 10-200 nm, and heating the porous layer locally.
