PURPOSE: To magnetically record specific information, based-on the decision processing result of magnetic recording information, by a writing head even on a magnetic ticket which requires a long period to read magnetic recording information or a magnetic ticket which is long in the processing time of magnetic recording information.

CONSTITUTION: The magnetic recording information of the magnetic ticket T is read by a reading head 45 by rotating a reversible ticket conveying means forward, and the standard time, required to decide the magnetic recording information of the magnetic ticket, which is set by ticket kinds is compared with the conveyance time required by the ticket conveying means to convey the magnetic ticket from the reading head 45 to the writing head 46. Only when the standard time is longer than the conveyance time, the ticket conveying means is reversed to return the magnetic ticket just in front of the writing head 46 and the ticket conveying means is rotated forward again to convey the magnetic ticket toward the writing head 46, so that the specific information based on the decision processing result of the magnetic recording information is magnetically recorded on the magnetic ticket by the writing head 46.
