PURPOSE: To facilitate input for totalization and data analysis by storing the final fare in relation with at least either of time information and place information at the start and end of a taxi ride.

CONSTITUTION: A fare meter 11 outputs an electric signal corresponding to the start of the taxi ride, an electric signal corresponding to the end of the ride, and the final fare integrated in the ride period to a storage means 12. The storage means 12 stores the final fare, displayed on the fare meter 11 corresponding to money reception of each time, in combination with at least either of time information and place information at the start and end of the ride. Then the recording operation that the driver performs by using a recording form and a writing tool is replaced with the automatic storage by the storage means 12. Further, the storage holding by the storage means 12 is performed by using an internal memory element which can be taken out, a detachable hardware storage medium, and a replaceable external storage medium.
