Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of setting the motion of an electrically-driven servo press capable of easily performing a motion setting in the electrically- driven servo press where an almost horizontal direct-acting power is converted into an upward/downward sliding motion through a linking mechanism.
SOLUTION: The electrically-driven servo press is of such methods that the stroke length of a slide (9) is set, in accordance with the set stroke length, the number of divided steps in the stroke length is automatically determined, the set stroke length is divided by the determined number of the divided steps at predetermined slide positions, and the divided slide positions are set as starting position and ending positions of each step. In addition, the stroke length of the slide (9) and the maximum operating revolution speed of a servo motor (15) are set and in accordance with the set stroke length and maximum operating revolution speed of the motor, the number of divided steps in the stroke length may be automatically determined.
