Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely deliver a luggage of a traveler to a delivery destination specified by the traveler even if the traveler cancels travel or changes a destination.
SOLUTION: Identification information of the traveler, contact address information, boarding information and information relating to luggage delivery destination are received from a delivery receipt terminal 3 and registered in a contract DB 11. Information relating to traveler's boarding status is acquired from a server 6 of a passenger transportation company managing the traveler's boarding status. When mismatch between the obtained information relating to traveler's boarding status and boarding information registered in the contract DB 11 exists, an inquiry about the luggage distribution destination is sent to the contact address of the traveler, information relating to luggage distribution destination notified by the traveler in response to the inquiry is registered in the contract DB 11.
