Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a antigenicity polypeptide sub-unit of a tumor-associated antigen in urine that has a molecular weight of approximately 90-100 kD after reduction by β-mercaptoethanol and separation by SDS-polyacrylamide gel cataphoresis and is essentially refined, and to provide a method for detecting a monoclonal antibody and a tumor, an immunotreatment method, a method for monitoring malignancy, a method for detecting tumor-associated antigen in urine, and a vaccine related to the tumor-associated antigen in urine and other methods.
SOLUTION: The method for detecting anti-U-TAA antibody in a sample includes a process for providing a surface where U-TAA is combined (i), a process for bringing the sample into contact with the surface (ii), and a process for detecting the anti-U-TAA antibody on the surface.
