Abstract:
To provide a method of warning a rider of a motorcycle (1) and a driving assistance control device (3) for carrying out or controlling the method.SOLUTION: The method includes: monitoring a traffic situation based on a signal from at least one sensor (17); inducing an acceleration change in the motorcycle (1) when detecting a dangerous traffic situation based on the signal from the at least one sensor (17) to warn a rider; monitoring a current inclination angle of the motorcycle (1); and considering the current inclination angle of the motorcycle (1), setting how to induce the acceleration change in the motorcycle (1) and/or setting the degree of acceleration change to be induced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
