Abstract:
A method and a first base station (2200) for performing access control and/or membership verification for dual connectivity in a wireless communication system is provided. The method comprises: transmitting a secondary node addition request message including a closed subscriber group, CSG, membership status of a user equipment, UE, to a second base station (2210); receiving a secondary node addition request acknowledge message from the second base station as a response to the secondary node addition request message; transmitting a CSG identifier, ID, of the second base station and the CSG membership status of the UE to a core network node; receiving a verified CSG membership status of the UE from the core network node; and transmitting the verified CSG membership status of the UE to the second base station, wherein the UE is connected to both the first base station and the second base station in dual connectivity.
