Abstract:

To provide a use of and a method for producing a dispensable and multiwelled delivery device for drugs and other molecules that can act for several weeks or several years at one dosage.

The method for producing the device for releasing molecules comprises the step of providing a substrate, the step of accumulating an insulation material on the substrate followed by patterning for the purpose of using as an etching mask, the step of etching a plurality of reservoirs in the substrate, the step of filling a releasing system and a capping material in the reservoirs, and the step of etching the releasing system and the capping material.
