Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional microstrip antenna where an external device such as a transmitter-receiver connected to the antenna is destroyed by the effect of the electromagnetic energy of a lightning stroke striking the antenna.
SOLUTION: The microstrip antenna is provided with a line that electrically interconnects a microstrip line and a ground conductor in the very vicinity of a slot.
