Title:
MIXER FOR BURNER FOR LIQUID FUEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2948509
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer to realize a combustion device for liquid fuel to reduce the generation of noise and increase combustion efficiency.
SOLUTION: A mixer for a burner for liquid fuel comprises an approximately cylindrical flame cone 21, an inner cylinder 30 coaxially arranged in a flame cone, and a flow straightening disc 40 attached to a rear end 39 of the inner cylinder. In the flame cone 21, a part of combustion air is fed in the direction of a central shaft from the tip therefrom. The inner cylinder is provided with a small first cylinder part 31, and a large second cylinder part 32, combustion air introduced through holes 41 and 42 of the flow straightening disc 40 flows to the interior approximately in parallel to a central axis. Thereby, fuel combustion air are not mixed but mixed in a preheated state in the vicinity of the tip of the flame cone 21 and rapidly and completely burnt. Thus, since not swirl flow is generated and combustion is effected in a region where a velocity of flow of fuel is low, the generation of combustion noise is reduced. Further, since fuel and combustion air are preheated, combustion efficiency is also improved.
