Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system capable of suppressing the degradation of transmission power control characteristics on a communication line in the idle time of a slotted mode.
SOLUTION: Even in idle time T4 of the slotted mode, a control signal 101 for maintaining the quality of the communication line is transmitted from a base station to a mobile station preferably while being inserted at predetermined time intervals. Thus, even when the idle time T4 is prolonged, the mobile station receives this control signal and transmission power can be controlled corresponding to the quality of the line.
