Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a modeled product, a transfer apparatus, and a molding system, by which a modeled product which has upheavals, and to which a transfer layer is transferred can be manufactured in a few steps.SOLUTION: In a first step in the method of manufacturing a modeled product, a thermally-expandable sheet 10 including a thermal expansion layer 12 that is expanded by heating and a transfer film 20 including a transfer layer 22 are placed so that the transfer layer 22 faces the thermally-expandable sheet 10. In a second step, partial application of heat at a temperature, at which the thermal expansion layer 12 can be expanded, to the thermally-expandable sheet 10 allows a surface corresponding to a portion, to which the heat is applied, in the thermally-expandable sheet 10 to be upheaved due to the expansion of the thermal expansion layer 12 to form recesses and projections on the surface of the thermally-expandable sheet 10, and the transfer layer 22 is selectively transferred to the surface of the upheaved portion by a pressing force to the transfer layer 22, generated due to the upheaval of the surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
