Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the modulation accuracy in the modulation circuit of orthogonal modulation system.
CONSTITUTION: A 1/4 frequency divider circuit 200a generating a modulated signal is constituted of two flip-flop circuits 201, 202, its corresponding input outputs are arranged on the sides opposite to each other or a same side in the circuit block, the length of signal wires 251, 252 from the flip-flop circuits 201, 202 to mixing circuits 301, 302 is selected to be the same to make the wiring capacitance equal to each other. Thus, a phase difference of modulated signals given to the mixing circuits 301, 302 is set accurately to be 90°, thereby improving the modulation accuracy.
