Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of creases caused by an air entrainment in a molded article having a recess or inverted R-shape at the time of integrally molding an article with a skin material spread thereover by a stamping molding operation.
SOLUTION: The skin integral type mold for manufacturing a molded item having a skin material H formed is such that opposite first and second molds 10, 20 define a cavity, and a skin material H is spread between the opposite molds 10, 20, and then molten resin is injected and then clamped therein, wherein at the outside position of the cavity to which the molten resin comes finally, a recess or cutting communicating with the cavity and outside is formed at either mold side of a mold 10 or a mold 20. Then, at the bottom surface of the recess or cutting, a spacer is disposed which has a smaller area than the bottom surface, and the spacer is fixed by an air release piece 23 located on a parting line PL in its one surface, and further an interstice is defined between the spacer and molds 10, 20 so as to enable air to be discharged from the interstice.
