Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a spilt-type mold manufactured simply readily by no use of a complicate spilt mold or core in the past for manufacturing a synthetic resin molded item having a recession.
CONSTITUTION: A mold for synthetic resin is featured such that, on the inner surface of a cavity along the opening and closing direction of a mold comprising a pair of freely opening and closing spilt molds D, E, a recession forming member F is projected for forming a recession in the molded item, and the recession forming member F is an elastic body 3 having a recession forming part l disposed on the rear surface that has an arcuate tip end in Its cross sectional configuration in the mold opening and closing direction, and urged in the inner part of the cavity G in a freely advancing and retreating manner.
