Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the molding method of a composite material, with which the improvement of a productivity can be contrived without lowering the transferring speed of a matrix resin, neither warpage nor ununiformity due to residual stress or the like develops in a molding, and a product accuracy can be enhanced, and its molding tool.
SOLUTION: A molding tool consists of a lower mold 2 equipped with a resin bung hole 2a and an upper mold 3, which is fitted to this lower mold 2 and to which a vacuum suction pipe 5 is connected. On the resin bung hole 2a side in the cavity 1 of the lower mold 2, a transmission adjusting member 11 made of meshy material is arranged horizontally. As the transmission adjusting member 11, a meshy material such as teflon-coated glass cloth or the like is used. Its preferable mesh numerical aperture is 1-80%. For example, by applying the mesh numerical aperture of about 50% to the pouring pressure of 0.1 MPa of a matrix resin 7, a penetrating pressure is despersed and becomes uniform. Thus, this thermosetting matrix resin 7 is infiltrated in a reinforcing fiber base material 4 in the cavity without disturbing the matrix resin.
