Abstract:
To provide a monitoring camera system, with which a camera apparatus or monitoring device can be freely moved.
A home page(HP) is previously registered on the Internet 13, a video signal is transmitted through the HP on the Internet 13 to a monitoring device 12 by radio while using a modem (PHS(R) or the like) and a control signal from the monitoring device 12 is transmitted to a camera apparatus 11 by using a wireless communication network 14. Thus, the transmission of the video signal and the control signal can be made wireless so that both the camera apparatus 11 and the monitoring device 12 can be freely moved within the service area of the wireless communication network 14.
