PURPOSE: To collect dust by sucking chips cut by means of a drill edge while making sure the perpendicularity and depth of the drill edge.

CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical chip sucking cylinder 22 is mounted to an outer circumference of a casing 1 in a slide-free shape, and a dust collecting cylinder 23 is manufactured by transparent plastic and a condition of a drill 16 is confirmed while the depth of drilling is displayed by means of a scale for indicating depth installed to an upper surface of the casing 1. Drilling chips are sucked by means of a fan 18 through a bellows portion 25 and stored in a housing chamber 33, and exhaust is purified through filters 34a, 34b and discharged. Air sucked through a hole 6 cools a motor 8. The chips received are discharged by opening a cover 35.
