PURPOSE: To improve workability of brush change and so forth by forming holes, slots and the like which pass through a bracket body in the diametrical direction of a bracket on the commutator side, and disposing brushes which meet the holes and slots around the outside diameter of the bracket.

CONSTITUTION: A metallic brush holder 17 is caulked and secured on a resin plate 18 by a rivet 19. A B bracket 11 is provided with a slit part 20 which meets a brush 3. The brush holder 17 provided with the brush 3 is mounted from the bearing 13 side of the B bracket 11. The brush 3 is brought into contact with the outside diameter surface of a commutator 16. In changing the brush 3 due to its wear generated by repetitive rotation, it is possible to change the brush 3 only by removing the resin plate 18 which has the brush holder 17 provided with the brush 3.
