In the mounting structure for the beam and the trailing arm bracket, in the trailing arm bracket comprising an approximately rectangular trailing arm bracket base plate and a pair of trailing arm bracket wall plates provided in a hanging condition on the trailing arm bracket base plate so as to be opposed to each other and arranged perpendicular to an axial direction of the beam and having an abutment notch part for abutting the trailing arm bracket on a lower part side of the beam and front and rear mounting holes for connecting the trailing arm on the trailing arm bracket base plate and the wall plate, the beam is abutted and welded/fixed to the abutment notch part of the trailing arm bracket. A rib is welded/fixed and provided between an outer surface of the beam and the wall plate of the trailing arm bracket.
