Abstract:
To provide a moving object detector with which it is possible to effectively detect a moving object such as a cockroach, and a proximity sensor used in the same.SOLUTION: A moving object detector 70 comprises: a plurality of first electrode portions 151p arrayed lengthwise and crosswise on a substrate 153; a plurality of second electrode portions 152p alternately arranged on the substrate lengthwise and crosswise, respectively, by being spaced apart by a prescribed distance from the first electrode portions; an oscillator circuit 71 constituting a CR oscillation unit together with the first and second electrode portions; a frequency-voltage conversion unit 74 for converting the oscillation signal of the oscillator circuit into a voltage signal, with the oscillation frequency of the oscillator circuit determined by the dielectric constant and the size of an object existing across the first and second electrode portions, the oscillation frequency varying as the object moves lengthwise and crosswise; and a determination unit 76 for determining whether or not the object is a target on the basis of the vibration frequency and voltage value of the voltage signal, the voltage value of the voltage signal reflecting the reciprocal of the oscillation frequency and vibrating according to a change of the oscillation frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
